How Do I Add a Link to the Delivery Information?

You can add a link to the delivery information displayed on the cart page by configuring the Link Text and Link URL fields in the Delivery Information section.

Note: The appearance of the link depends on your Shopify theme. The example above uses Horizon v3.5.1 with the cart drawer.

What You'll Accomplish

You can display a link to pages such as your shipping policy or delivery information page in the delivery date section of the cart page, making it easier for customers to access important information before completing their purchase.

Setup Instructions

  1. Open the Basic Delivery Date app from your Shopify admin.
  2. Open the General Settings, Display Format, Time Slots & Delivery Information page.
  3. Locate the Delivery Information section.
  4. Enter the text you want to display in the Link Text field.
  5. Enter the destination URL in the Link URL field.
  6. Click Save.

Important Notes

To display a link, you must enter both the Link Text and Link URL. The settings cannot be saved if either field is left empty.

Please also note the following:

  • The Link URL must begin with http:// or https://.
  • The Link Text cannot contain @, <, or >.
  • After saving, the link text will appear in the delivery date section of the cart page. The link opens in a new browser tab.
